Been seeing a lot of people saying Halsey is unproblematic and should not be hated at all so here is my list of why Halsey is a walking trash can
1) she’s a 21 year old woman who kissed a goddamn minor, I don’t care if there was consent on the minor’s behalf, 21 year olds are NOT supposed to be bringing up minors who can’t fucking give consent on stage and making out with them and if you think that’s fine you need a reality check
2) she’s always fucking victimising herself she once literally dmed a fan on Twitter saying she’s bad at this and she can’t do this because she’s too whiny to handle fame
3) she can’t bear something not being about her (like that Melanie tweet and that tweet comparing Halsey and kehlani’s treatment by society and saying Halsey is treated better BECAUSE SHE IS WHITE PASSING AND KEHLANI IS NOT)
4) her om tattoo, it’s fucking sacred in Hinduism and my religion is not a damn aesthetic or costume
5) romanticising and fetishising Japanese culture and language in the second ghost video
6) she’s unoriginal as fuck (shes ripped off lana’s song national anthem and Sky Ferreira’s night time my time video)
7) new Americana is fucking ugly
8) the colors video is flat out creepy and disturbing like regardless of age she was taking secret pictures of the man in it and if it had been a 18 year old dude taking secret pics of an older woman and idolising her yall would have crucified him but it’s okay because Halsey’s a girl
9) her lyrics are bland, cheesy and generic there’s literally nothing special about them
10) she’s lied about being homeless when she was literally posting pictures of her expensive branded stuff on Instagram
11) where’s the apology for all her problematic tweets huh like Lauren Jauregui once said something about psychiatrists and she apologised for it where’s the goddamn apology for saying Asians multiply every year because you know we fucking reproduce like anyone else
I don’t hate Halsey because she’s bipolar biracial bisexual, I hate her because she’s fucking problematic and yall are too far up her ass to see it
